Are stock prices reflecting greed (again)?
Abstract:
Nanotechnology - the hot science of manipulating materials at the atomic or molecular level - is enjoying lots of buzz on Wall Street. But for Nanometrics, a small public company in Milpitas, Calif., the sudden stampede of attention has been, well ... surprising. "(Nanometrics) is the best Nanotech play going!" bammer10 wrote about the company on Yahoo's message board Dec. 9. "Nanotech is the wave of the future. Buy as much as possible!!!!!" Never mind Nanometrics is a 25-year-old company whose true mission is decidedly less exotic than its nano-like name suggests.
