Nanosys New Hires to Speed Development of Nanotechnology Products
Abstract:
Nanosys Inc. hired two new executives to aid the company's transition from nanotechnology R&D to manufactured products. Dr. Michael S. Barnes joined the company as vice president of technology development systems, and Matthew B. Bigge joined the company as director of corporate development. Both positions are new additions to Nanosys's executive team. The new hires come as Nanosys is reinforcing its business and manufacturing capabilities following a series of recent corporate deals with companies including Intel, Matsushita Electric Works, SAIC and others.
