A Scientific Revolution Tinier Than An Atom

Abstract:
Tom Kalil sees a day when painful chemotherapy and cocktails of cancer drugs may no longer exist. A special assistant to the chancellor for science and technology and former advisor to President Clinton, Kalil envisions a smart device - thousands of times thinner than the size of a human hair - that will recognize cancer cells, diagnose the cause and deliver drugs only to diseased areas. (Ed.'s Note: "tinier than an atom" is close, but not correct)
