Three firms partner for memory chip development
Abstract:
Infineon Technologies North America, Genus Inc. and Albany Nano-Tech have signed a three-year partnership program worth $12 million to develop next-generation chip memory devices. Under the program, researchers and engineers from Infineon, Genus and ANT will work jointly on site at the UAlbany Center of Excellence in Nanoelectronics to develop and optimize atomic layer deposition processes for both metal electrode and high-k dielectric materials for sub-45nm DRAM capacitors on a Genus StrataGem-300 300mm wafer bridge cluster tool.
