BU professor named 2003 Woman of the Year
Abstract:
India New England last night named its 2003 Woman of the Year at an event held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Boston University professor Tejal Desai was the 2003 honoree. Desai is an expert in the field of biomedical engineering, which marries the disciplines of nanotechnology and tissue engineering. With Desai’s help, BU has molded itself into one of the leading universities in the field.
