New York cannot pause in push for technology sector
Abstract:
At the opposite end of the country, people are talking about making Albuquerque the center of nanotechnology in the United States. The New Mexicans contend they have a great claim, since no other city boasts of having Department of Energy and National Science Foundation nanotechnology centers. The Albuquerque vision includes a $400 million nano-technology center being built by the Sandia National laboratories and plans to link Sandia with the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of New Mexico.
