UMass-Amherst looks to push nanotechnology into big time
Abstract:
UMass launches a new center that aims not only to further advance its basic research into nanotechnology, but to turn the results into commercial products and applications. The new center, called MassNanoTech, will bring together scientists across several disciplines and expand collaboration with industry partners, with the goal of moving research from concept to prototype. Ultimately the center hopes to boost the state's technology-driven economy as well.
