Tiny technology seeks big bucks
Abstract:
Capitalizing on a burgeoning interest in the field of nanotechnology, a Chapel Hill company is tapping venture capital firms to raise up to $10 million in Series A funding. Applied Nanotechnologies Inc., a 3-year-old company formed to commercialize technology coming out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expects to close the round by mid-2004, says Otto Zhou, chairman of ANI.
