Nanotechnology use to be worth NT$300 billion
Abstract:
The value of nanotechnology applications by various industries may reach NT$300 billion ($8.8B) by 2008 and NT$1 trillion by 2010, according to forecasts by the government and research institutes. The joint announcement by the Cabinet-level National Science Council, the Industrial Development Bureau under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) came on the eve of a nanotechnology exhibition to be held today.
