SIA Applauds Passage of the Nanotechnology Act
Abstract:
The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) congratulates Congress on the passage of the Nanotechnology Act of 2003, which the SIA considers to be the foundation for significant information technology (IT) advancements beyond the next 15 years. "The semiconductor industry recognizes the need for significant technology breakthroughs in such areas as device performance and power, and manufacturing controls and costs," stated George Scalise, SIA President.
