NanoInk Awarded SBIR Grant
Abstract:
NanoInk, Inc., today announced it has received the first award of a two-phase $1.3 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant was awarded to support the development of NanoInk's patented Dip Pen Nanolithography(TM) technology for ultra-miniaturization of DNA
arrays. "Products based on DPN-enabled nanoarrays can revolutionize medical research and diagnostics," said NanoInk CEO Cedric Loiret-Bernal, M.D. "This award validates and encourages our efforts in this direction."
