Microarrays moving out of the lab for bio applications
Abstract:
The breadth of projected application opportunities for bioarrays is fueling a volatile mix of technologies, all of which were on display at the recent Chips to Hits conference in Boston. Nanotechnologists, VLSI chip makers and biomedical researchers gathered to report progress on a trend that is taking molecular biology out of the lab and into clinics, hospitals and, eventually, the home.
