Nano-advances have firms thinking small
Abstract:
Firms like Mitsubishi Corp. are starting to see the microscopic wonders that nanotechnology works. Nanotechnology has arrived. No longer a term for dewy-eyed futurists, nanotechnology now appears in business plans, tax filings and marketing brochures.That's right. The science of manipulating materials at microscopic level has gone commercial. Japanese companies are using nanotechnology to make materials for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics and textiles.
