Univ. teams with NIST for nanotech research
Abstract:
University (of Maryland) officials said they are pleased with the collaborative research that has begun with the National Institute for Standards and Technology since the university signed an agreement with the agency this summer. University and NIST researchers have begun work on various projects, including fire protection, robotic Humvee research and nanotechnology - research on the microscopic level - with an emphasis on collaborative nanomanufacturing research.
