Abstract:
Technologies that could help spacecraft run better, help people regain their eyesight and let scientists get a better look at the world landed awards for Chicago area researchers. R&D Magazine recognized its picks for the top 100 innovations of the year at an exhibition and banquet last week at Navy Pier. The awards, dubbed the "Nobel Prizes of Technology," recognize innovations ranging from super-stretch wearable fibers to advanced X-ray analyzers.
