State aims to aid nanotech research investment
Abstract:
In a bid to spread nanotechnology research across SUNY campuses, the state has set up a not-for-profit corporation to spur industry investment. NanoTech Resources Inc.'s oversight will include work done at the Albany NanoTech project at the University at Albany. Louis Tomson, the chairman of the new organization, said NanoTech Resources would serve as an independent eye to ensure that state and industry resources are being used well.
