Nanotech gets state boost
Abstract:
Oregon's nanotechnology initiative is just one of many visible manifestations of those hopes and dreams. The state's National Center for Multiscale Materials and Devices, known as the MMD and located in Corvallis, is so new it is still in the process of being set up. But already, many of those involved in its creation can imagine a whole range of new business ventures spinning out of it, and with them, new jobs for Oregonians.
