Abstract:
Years have been spent trying to crack life's genetic code with high-powered computers. Now scientists are looking at things from the opposite angle, and are harnessing life itself to generate a new strain of computer devices. Unleashing the activity and properties of DNA -- life's basic building block -- as well as biologically-inspired computing, could soon form the basis of new devices.
