Defense spending bill to boost projects in region
Abstract:
A defense appropriations bill on its way to the President's desk earmarks almost $20 million for the Capital Region ... The bill also allocates $2.5 million for Albany NanoTech at the University at Albany to continue work on the Navy's all-electric ship project, and $1 million for GE Global Research and Albany Medical Center to conduct research in molecular medicine.
