Electron Teams Make Bigger Qubits
Abstract:
One of the biggest challenges in building quantum computers is making quantum bits that are small enough to have the requisite quantum behavior, yet large enough to be reliably controlled by electronic circuits. Qubits use traits of particles like electrons or photons to represent the 1s and 0s of computing. Quantum computers have the potential to solve certain very large problems much faster than classical computers.
