Labs' new facilities may bring dollars to N.M.
Abstract:
Sandia starts construction today on the $462.5 million MESA facility. When finished in 2008 it will be the biggest, most advanced microtechnology laboratory in the United States, Sandia says. That, coupled with the construction of Sandia's $78.5 million Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies, which will be one of the nation's most advanced nanotechnology centers, has economic developers and technologists excited about the state's financial future.
