Iowa's Bioforce Nanosciences can play an array like a phonograph

Abstract:
BioForce Nanosciences Inc. believes the ability to read its arrays in real time using atomic force microscopes (AFMs) instead of biomarkers, such as dyes or quantum dots, will give it an edge over competitors in diagnostics. This is because an AFM actually "feels" its way around a sample to create an image, like a nanoscale version of a phonograph needle.
