Breakthrough to cut cost of flat-screen TVs

Abstract:
Men, the giant flat-screen TV of your dreams will get closer to affordable reality. Motorola Inc. announced Tuesday that scientists at its labs in Tempe have developed a new process that could enable electronics manufacturers to produce large flat-panel displays for less than $1,000 in as little as two years.
