Electrochemical machining carves out nanostructures
Abstract:
Scientists from the University of Virginia, US, and the Fritz Haber Institute in Germany have used single-step electrochemical machining to make complex nanostructures in nickel. Using ultrashort voltage pulses enabled them to produce structures with widths of 90 nm.
