Nanotube networks to mimic brain
Abstract:
By drawing on human biology, scientists at NASA Ames Research Center may revolutionize the future of computing. Researchers at the center, located at Moffett Field, have come up with a way to grow minuscule networks of connected carbon nanotubes, similar to a brain's synapses, which could lead to smarter, more reliable computers.
