Abstract:
The ability to make nanotubes from a variety of inorganic semiconducting materials opens exciting opportunities in nanoelectronics and related fields. Most existing fabrication techniques, however, produce nanotubes with poor crystallinity, limiting their performance. A new technique used to make single-crystal nanotubes of gallium nitride could help overcome such limitations.
