Researchers at UCD are using the tiniest tools of the trade to fight HIV
Abstract:
Nanotechnology has created bouncier tennis balls, given beer longer shelf life, and made improbably small computer processors possible. When this method of miniaturizing and assembling technology from single molecules is brought to biotechnology, research tools can be synthesized that will range a mere three to six atoms across.
