Explore Coated Nanofibers as a Bone Substitute
Abstract:
Materials scientists at Northwestern University have now created a self-assembling material, made from organic molecules with a mineral coat, analogous to bone. This discovery could be an important landmark in the path to make a synthetic replacement for bone.
