Molecular Puzzle, nanosculpture by Cris Orfescu |
For the 6th edition of this competition, nanoart21.org founded by artist and scientist
Cris Orfescu is providing 3 high resolution monochromatic electron scans of nanosculptures created by Orfescu:
Nano Canyons,
Molecular Puzzle, and
Nano Transformers. Participating artists who do not have other possibility to obtain electron microscopy imagery will have to alter 1, 2 or all 3 provided images in any artistic way to create original NanoArt work(s). Consider this a scientist - artist collaboration. However, the artists, scientists, and artists-scientists teams are strongly encouraged to participate with their own images as long as these visualize micro or nanostructures.
