The Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) will hold a webinar on January 19, 2022, on communicating about nanomaterials. See https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/communicating-about-nanomaterials-tickets-227640558037 The webinar will discuss how and why nanomaterials and the relevant research are sometimes misrepresented in the media and how this can negatively affect the sector. Science and media experts will review what researchers should keep in mind when addressing the broader public and how companies can address negative coverage and improve their communications strategies. Participants will then examine concrete examples of risk governance and communication developed in European Union (EU) projects. The webinar is free and open to all. Bergeson & Campbell, P.C.
