EUON Nanopinion Reviews How EU-Funded Research Aims to Revolutionize Toxicity Screening of Nanomaterials

On September 14, 2020, the European Union (EU) Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON) published a Nanopinion entitled "EU research aims to revolutionise toxicity screening of nanomaterials" by Andrew Nelson, Professor in Nanotoxicology and EU Project Coordinator (Safety by Design of Nanomaterials (SABYDOMA) and High level Integrated Sensor for Nanotoxicity Screening (HISENTS)) - University of Leeds. See https://euon.echa.europa.eu/de/nanopinion/-/blogs/eu-research-aims-to-revolutionise-toxicity-screening-of-nanomaterials Nelson provides overviews of the EU-funded HISENTS and SABYDOMA programs. According to Nelson, the EU's research program is "[a] key instrument in increasing our understanding of the potential safety concerns related to nanomaterials and nanotechnologies while exploring their capacity to usher in a new era of innovations."
