Linda Wolin is a medical and technical writer-editor with a combined business, scientific and teaching background. Presently she has her own business, WriteSAIF, Inc. However, her experiences also include work for multi-national corporations (doing global sourcing and supply-chain-management, both in the United States and overseas) and teaching assignments (in science and business) at the high school and graduate levels.
Linda obtained her B.A., with a major in history and a minor in chemistry as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from New York University and her M.B.A. as a Hotchkiss Scholar from Lake Forest College, Graduate School of Management, in Illinois. She also has certifications in writing and editing from the University of Chicago and Ohio University and a life-time certification from the Institute of Supply Management.
Linda enjoys and incorporates volunteerism into her busy schedule. In 1992-93 she was elected by her peers and served as President of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Supply Management. Presently she co-leads a book club and chairs another group that assists non-for-profits in her community. Some of her hobbies are photography, telling jokes and hiking in the mountains (with family and friends).
